UMD Womens Hockey WCHA Playoffs Vs Ohio State

The UMD Womens' hockey team swept Ohio State in the WCHA first round playoff series at Amsoil Arena, February 24/25. On Friday night, the Bulldogs got two goals from Jamie Kenyon, and a goal each from Haley Irwin and Jenna McParland. Jenny Harss stopped 34 of 37 shots she faced in the first game of the series.
On Saturday, the 'Dogs needed overtime to finish off the Buckeyes. Haley Irwin scored two first period goals, and Shara Jasper scored 6:40 into the first overtime to seal the victory. Jenny Harss stopped 28 of 30 shots in the Saturday victory.
