The UMD womens basketball team defeated Bemidji State University 60-39 at Romano Gymnasium, February 4, 2012. Katrina Newman's 16 points (and 13 rebounds) led the 'Dogs in scoring. Courtney Doucette scored 11, while shooting 3 of 7 from 3-point range. UMD out-rebounded Bemidji 54 to 30, including 16 to 7 in offensive rebounds.
