The UMD men's basketball team fell to Wisconsin-Parkside 67-61 at Romano Gym, November 11, 2012. The Bulldogs were down 32-25 after the first half, shooting under 30% for the half. They outscored Parkside 36-35 in the second half, and led the game 53-52 at with 4:23 left in the game, but were outscored 15-8 in that final portion of the game. Parkside's final 5 points came from the free throw line, as UMD fouled to stop the clock and try to climb back in during the final 1:25. For the game, Parkside dominated the paint, outscoring UMD 28-16 with their inside presence.

UMD was led by Jake Hottenstine's 22 points, 7 of 14 shooting, 2 for 4 from beyond the 3 point line, and 6 of 7 from the free throw line. Hottenstine also had 4 steals and 5 rebounds in the game. Brett Ervin shot 4 of 8, 1 of 2 for 3-points, and 3 of 4 from the charity stripe. Ben Bucholz contributed 9 points, 5 of 6 for free throws.

Parkside was led by Jeremy Saffold's 22 points, and 8 rebounds.
