The 2012 FDLTCC Thunder volleyball season debuted with a 3 games to 1 loss to Central Lakes CC. While the Raiders were playing their 7th match of the season already, the Thunder were playing their 1st. The Thunder won the first game of the match 25-20, going on a run from 14-14 to 19-14 keyed by Marita Yellowhammer blocks and kills. Central Lakes picked up their play after the first game, to run the final 3 games 25-10, 25-11, and 25-10 to take the match.
