The Duluth Northern Stars dropped a 7-6 overtime game to Cambridge-Istanti at Heritage Center, November 12, 2011. Stephanie Cannon's second goal of the game, with 1:38 left in the overtime period gave the Bluejackets the win.

Nikki Logergren and Rosie Nelson scored twice for the Northern Stars, while Kylie Schaub and Claudia Gagnon each scored once.

Megan Erickson and Kaity Ripp each added two goals for Cambridge, in addition to Cannon's 2, while Taylor Bowker accounted for their other goal.
