The Duluth Clydesdales outshot the Fort Frances Lakers 44-26, but dropped the November 6 hockey game at Heritage Center 4-3.

The Lakers' Jordan Larson, only 16 years old, had a hat trick in their defeat of the Clydes, giving him 21 goals, in Fort Frances' 19th game of the season. David Tearse and Jordan Shockley each scored goals after Larson goals in the first period, with the game tied after one.

Larson scored the only goal of the second period, with Fort Frances up 3-2 after two.

Matt Morsette tied the game at 4:11 of the third period, but the Lakers' Colton Spicer, also 16, took back the lead just 23 seconds later.

Tanner Hamilton stopped 41 of the 44 Clydes shots taking the win, while Matt Arnold took the loss for the Clydes, stopping 22 of 26 Lakers' shots.
