The Esko volleyball team fell to Duluth East 3 games to 1 in Duluth, October 2, 2012 by scores of 16-25, 25-17 16-25, and 12-25. Kallyn Knutson was credited with 42 digs for the Eskomos, while Christaia Houser had 11 kills and Amanda Belden 9 kills from Courtney Johnston's 26 set-assists in the match. Duluth East's Sarah Baker had 27 set assists, 10 of those to Mandy Kurosky kills, while the Greyhound defense was led by Bailey Romans 8 blocks and Cassie Chruscielski's 13 digs.

Houser served the Eskomos to a 9-0 start in the second game, which Esko won, while Chruscielski served the Greyhounds all the way to a 16-1 lead in the final game after an East side-out made the score 1-1.
