On a cold and windy Thursday (October 4) the Esko-Carlton girls soccer team answered an earlier season 2-0 win by the Cloquet girls with a 2-0 win of their own in the second match between the teams of the season. Elle Emanuel put the Eskomos up 1-0 in the 53rd minute, scoring off a centering pass by Erika Shady. Brooke Schramm put Esko up 2-0 just 6 minutes later using her head to score a goal off a Hillary Anderson corner kick.
