The Lumberjacks battled Grand Rapids tough in a 3-1 volleyball loss in Cloquet, September 6, 2011. The Jacks lost the first game 20-25 and the second 19-25. Cloquet then reeled off 12 straight points to start game 3, off Abbie Anderson serves and timely hitting from the front line. Grand Rapids rallied but the Jacks won game 3 25-15, then dropped the 4th and final game 10-25.
