Wayzata's Allison Kirk tied the game with a powerplay goal 40 seconds into the third period. Taylor Kramer gave Wayzata a 2-1 lead at 7:40 of the period. Carlson tied the game at 14:35 of the period, assisted by Emily Gustafson and Dalyce Gustafson, and the game went to overtime.
Wayzata's Sophia Shaver knotched the game winner, 1:34 into overtime beating Lumberjack goaltender Katie Beckman stick side.
