The Lumberjacks fell behind 2-0 in the first period, but scored twice in each the second and third periods to defeat the White Bear Lake Bears 4-2 at the Northwoods Credit Union Arena, December 10, 2011.

WBL freshman Jake Wahlin opened the scoring with a powerplay goal at 4:57 of the first period, beating John Scheuer to his glove side. Mitch Morisette made it 2-0 at 13:52 of the period, sending Cloquet to the first intermission down 2-0.

Adam Hanson put the Jacks on the board at 11:39 of the second period, putting a Karson Kuhlman rebound into the empty net when WBL defenders hit their own goaltender, Anthony Zappa, when trying to check Kuhlman. Kuhlman evened the score at 2, at 13:25 of the second period, skating in alone and getting Zappa to make the first move, then skating around him to find the open net.

Justin Hammann put the Lumberjacks up 3-2, with the eventual game winning goal, from the his defensive spot on the blueline, with an assist to Drew Dincau. Kuhlman finished the scoring with an empty net goal with 2 seconds left on the clock, to put the Jacks up 4-2.
